History

In 1996 MG's Quantitative and Investment Analysis Services gave rise to a small, specialised service venture that focused mainly on building trading models, analysing investment performance and doing econometric research. Under the auspices of the FSB a small equity portfolio was run based on optimised technical indicator models and on behalf of Asset Mix Advisors.
This venture was converted into Ferra Asset Management in 2001 with a focus on quantitative modelling and quantitative programming. Risk management, econometric projections and trading model development forms the core of Ferra's research operations which are then used to manage client funds..
Through the years Ferra has served a number of clients, both locally and abroad, such as banks, government, market markets and traders.
